Jake in his shop

Jake has been breathing life back into guitars for over 10 years. What started as a childhood obsession with the guitar — the sounds, the mechanics, the feel — grew into a full professional calling.

After graduating from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, one of the world's most respected music schools, Jake spent years on the benches of guitar shops across Los Angeles, sharpening his craft alongside some of the best in the business.

Today he runs his own boutique operation out of El Monte, CA — no big-box appointments, no rushed jobs for the sake of volume. Just one tech who treats every instrument like it belongs to someone who really loves it.

His philosophy is simple: the musician always comes first. Every decision — the setup height, the pickup choice, the wiring layout — is made with the player's genre, feel, and tone in mind.

Where It Started

"The guitar was in my hands before I knew what to do with it."

Jake grew up surrounded by music. From the moment he first held a guitar as a kid, there was something magnetic about it — not just the sound, but the engineering. How a small truss rod adjustment could transform playability. How a fresh nut could unlock tuning stability that changed everything.

That kid grew up, went to school for it, worked in the shops, and eventually brought it all home to El Monte. The guitar obsession never went away — it just got more precise.
